Leeds United FC was founded in 1919, based in the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire. Leeds play their home matches at Elland Road, which has a capacity of 37,890, with the record attendance for a home game of 57,892, against Sunderland in 1967. Leeds United has won several major honours in English football, including three First Division (former top division) titles, one FA Cup, one League Cup, and two Charity Shields. The club also enjoyed great success in European football in the 1960s and 1970s, reaching the final of the European Cup in 1975, losing to Bayern Munich. The club’s most recent success came in 2020, when they won the Championship and earned promotion back to the Premier League after a 16-year absence. Nicknamed the “Whites” or the “Peacocks,” due to the white shirts of the home kit, the club’s crest features a blue and yellow shield with a white rose at the center, which is the symbol of Yorkshire. Famous players have included legendary midfielder Billy Bremner, striker Peter Lorimer, Alan Clarke, Gordon Strachan, and more recently Alan Smith, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and the late Gary Speed. Leeds are well known for their passionate fans known as the “Leeds United faithful” They have a reputation for being some of the most  vocal in the Premier League and have several fan anthems, including “Marching On Together,” which is sung by then fans before every home game.  At present we supply a limited range of Leeds United merchandise comprising a range of signed Leeds shirts.
